Earthquake in Giles

At 11 o’clock Saturday night, an unpleasantly distinct and prolonged earthquake was felt at Pearisburg, in Giles county. In point of force, noise and prolongation of reverberations, it exceeded any of the hundreds that have been felt there, with the exception of the two noted ones, which that community so well remember as having occurred several years ago.
