HILL/BROWN
Seek any information on families with surname HILL in 1800’s Giles Co., VA, and later Logan Co., WV, with or without information on the parentage of Hannah HILL, born circa 1800 in possibly the section of Logan County which was previously Giles County and married there in 1821 to John Bridges BROWN, War of 1812 veteran, who settled there from Mt. Sterling, KY. They later moved to Missouri where Hannah died in 1863. We are informed and believe that at the time of Hannah’s birth there were several prominent families named HILL in Giles Co., VA and later Logan Co., WV and we would like to connect with descendants of any of them. Any information is appreciated and will share what little information we have. Thank you for your courtesy and cooperation in this regard.
Sincerely, Robert Campbell of Long Beach, California, great- great-great-grandson of HANNAH HILL BROWN.
