Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Strader of Pearisburg, Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth, to Mr. James Alfred Anders, son of Dr. and Mrs. Andrew A. Anders of Washington, formerly of Philadelphia.
Miss Strader is a graduate of Madison College, Harrisonburg, Va., where she was a member of Alpha Sigma Tau and was elected to membership in the 1950 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities.”
Mr. Anders attended Friends’ Select School in Philadelphia and George Washington University. At present he is serving with the Army of the United States and awaiting assignment to Officer Candidate School at Fort Belvoir, Va.
The wedding will be held May 3 in Pearisburg.
