Miss Minnie French Death

Miss Minnie French, formerly of Pearisburg, Giles County, died Monday night at the residence of her brother-in-law, Rev. W. S. Leake, No. 700 Graham Street, Fulton.

Miss French was in the thirty-seventh year of her age and had been ill for some time, therefore her death was not unexpected. She was a devout Christian and was loved by every one who came in contact with her.

She is survived by three brothers and three sisters – Messrs. Guy French, of Roanoke; John French, of Pearisburg; and Hon. D. Edwin French, of Keystone, W. Va.; Mrs. W. S. Leake, of this city; Mrs. C. C. Syndor, of Pembroke, Va.; and Miss Bernice French, of Pearisburg.

Mesdames Leake and Syndor were at her bedside at the time of her death.

Messrs. D. Edwin and John French reached the city last night. The remains will be taken to Pearisburg this morning at 10 o’clock, and the funeral will take place from the Pearisburg Baptist Church on Thursday at 11 o’clock.
